The Collaborative Centre supports programs and communities that help people across the mental health and wellbeing workforce learn from one another, strengthen practice and share valuable knowledge across the sector.

This includes funding promising workforce development initiatives so they can reach beyond their original organisation, as well as supporting Communities of Practice that bring people together around shared roles, disciplines and areas of practice.

Sector Capability and Learning Expansion (SCALE)

The Sector Capability and Learning Expansion initiative, known as SCALE, provides small grants to help services share effective workforce development initiatives, resources and learning opportunities more broadly.

In 2026, the Collaborative Centre funded 13 projects across culturally responsive practice, Lived and Living Experience, partnerships with families and carers, physical health, spirituality, trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, reflective practice and core clinical skills.

Communities of Practice

Communities of Practice bring together people with shared roles, disciplines or interests to connect, reflect and learn from one another.
